South Charlotte’s famous Myers Park’s notoriety is earned and deserved. Nationally recognized, this special place was created in part by John Myers in the early 20th century to be a retreat. Stunningly gorgeous, a trip down tree-canopied Queens Road is a requisite for all of your out of town guests. A jewel in Charlotte’s crown, Myers Park is home to the famous Myers Park Country Club, boutiques along Selwyn Avenue, and the famous Booty Loop, Charlotte’s infamous running and bicycling course. Queens College is an original part of the neighborhood and one of Charlotte’s earliest colleges. Note the historic streetcar stops as a reminder of this great neighborhoods past, while admiring the modern-day beauty on display in masterful restorations.
